Actually, I only discovered Ingersoll very recently. I'm curious to read more that he wrote. Lots is online (in English) here, but it looks like that site emphasizes his writings on agnosticism pretty heavily. From other searches, I have a feeling that he had much more to say about other things, too... :-)
Thank you for that link! I could use the essay about the Devil (1899) - my husband soon sits on a panel discussion about "Evil" - so it comes in very handy.
FYI, that's not my picture -- I usually try to give proper attribution for these things, but it looked like the site that I found it on had copied (re-copied? re-re-copied?) it from elsewhere.
